Getting Started

Ok, so I know that starting your car's upgrades and modifications is one of the hardest parts, if not, the hardest part in this entire process, but that is why I am here. First, like I said in my previous post, you need to research the different after market accessories you are going to invest in for your car's performance. This is VERY important because some equipment may actually lower the cars performance, and/or reliability. Research is the key ingredient to starting your transformation. Remember, the internet is your friend, use it and the people on it for good advice, but rarely, if at all, buy from a non-credited source or website, unless you want to get ripped off.

Second, make a plan. Decide what you are going to put on when and where (at your local shop, or do-it-yourself). Having a plan will increase the success you will have in the end. Do not be afraid to write stuff down.

Third, get to work. If you want your project to get done, make sure you have the funds to do so and don't put it off. If you do, you are just wasting your time and money on something that isn't finished or done right, and remember, its what you want your car to look like and perform, it is not really about what other people think. Oh and one more tip, you are on the inside of your car more often, maybe it would be smart to invest some money into the interior first if you are going to invest any money at all.

Any questions, leave a comment or contact me on my page.

Auto Tips Introduction

Introduction

I find it interesting that people spend a lot of time contemplating what will look good on their auto or truck from another person’s perspective. I mean, people spend way to much time worrying about mistakes they will make while experimenting with different aftermarket accessories for their cars. All of this contributes to the fun of making your car your own. This is what this blog is for; helping you get inside information of what will look good feel good and perform well on your car or truck. I am going to keep this short due to the fact that this is just an introduction, but if you have any questions on anything, I am sure that either I or another blogger can assist you with your inquiry.

Now, when transforming your car or truck into your own masterpiece, time and money are your most valuable tools. Use them wisely. I will do my best to inform you with the latest deals and websites that offer customer support and great accessories for a very low price. Advice will be given about wheels and tires all the way to your sound system you want to bump in your car.

Another important subject that I want to touch up on before I go is installing it yourself. You may think you know what you are doing, but in reality, you cant be an expert on everything. If you have a question, don’t be afraid to contact your local shop, but don’t feel pressured to buy from them, especially if the product you want can be found cheaper somewhere else. However, it is never a bad idea to spend some money on a good job. If your local dealer does a very good job and has a reputable stature, don’t be afraid to spend some extra cash, it will always be worth it in the end.
